The testing season at Vaitoudden is from end of November to end of March each year. The winter test center offers test tracks, workshops and offices. It is located about 10 km northwest of Arjeplog on the Vaitoudden peninsula in Sweden.

Facilities

The winter test center is ideally equipped for providing comprehensive support for the development and application of brake control systems. There are specialized workshops on site to manage vehicle equipment. In addition to metrology facilities, software and hardware support are available. Thus, complete development projects can be carried out with minimal legwork and time.

The main building offers a lot of space for the users of the winter test center Vaitoudden. Within the building, there are various offices, workshops and conference rooms. In addition, you will find numerous parking lots in front of and around the building.

Workshops: We will be glad to make an individual offer concerning size and workshop equipment.

Vaporizing (de-icing) hall: with two steam cleaners; suitable for passenger cars and trucks

Cold chamber: located close to the slopes; can cool down to minus 30 degrees Celsius

Garages for electric and high-voltage vehicles: charging equipment must be brought; supply up to 128 A

Prototype garage: We will be glad to make an individual offer.

Gas station: offers super (98 octane) and diesel fuel

Offices: 250 workspaces with modern communications equipment

Meeting rooms: for up to 35 people

Auditorium: space for up to 90 people

Cafeteria: with WLAN and four computers that guests can use to access the internet

Summer house: an ideal place for meetings and events with up to 20 people

Event tipis: Space for approx. 40 to 50 people per tipi. The ideal place for your customer presentation or evening event.

During the opening hours of the winter test center, a professional first aid service (ambulance with German crew) is in constant readiness on site.

On request, we can organize accommodations in Arjeplog. You can choose between hotels with standard and VIP rooms or private homes.

Planning and organization of events
Experience a special environment for your meeting, conference or customer presentation. We can arrange different event programs, adapted to the number of nights you and your colleagues would like to spend in Arjeplog. We are open to modify each program after your wishes so that the program suits your purpose optimally. The Vaitoudden event team will make it possible and help you with the planning of different activities.

Catering
For events, such as presentations, seminars, product training and driving safety training, a separate catering service is often desired. For this purpose, please contact our event team, which will assist you in choosing from a wide range of regional specialties.
In addition to the culinary experience at lunch time, we are pleased to take care of in-between meals or the catering service in the event room.

When can the winter test center be used?

The winter test center is open from end of November until end of March. On working days (Monday to Saturday) the winter test center and its facilities can be used from 08:00 a. m. to 10:00 p. m. Apart from that, the winter test center is opened by special arrangement. We reserve the right to make changes.
Special arrangements are needed for use on Sundays and public holidays.

Per usage day and person a daily rate will be charged. This rate includes the preparation of the test tracks, the usage of the test tracks, security services and the professional first aid service.
